Greetings People of God,

Somerton United Methodist Church and I welcome you. Our mission here is to glorify God by making disciples for Jesus Christ. I recently began my second year of service by serving the Lord in the Somerton United Methodist Church last July. I have been serving as an Elder in the United Methodist Church of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference. I am ordained at the Eastern Pennsylvania Annual conference for seventeen years. My first appointment was at the Tobyhanna United Methodist Church in Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania and I served there for eight years followed by few other churches.

I believe in the power of prayer. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who has been called according to his purpose” -Romans 8:28. I believe, everyone who knows Jesus is a missionary and everyone who does not know Jesus is a mission field. Our church is a mission-oriented church.

Somerton United Methodist Church provides opportunities for spiritual growth and building community in the house of the Lord. We meet at 10:45 am. for Sunday worship service, have weekly bible studies and coffee hours (coffee hour has been halted due to COVID-19 pandemic). We also have a lovely choir and a talented praise music team each week. We also participate in the Somerton food bank as outreach for the community.

Our church runs on the foundation of Jesus Christ and our aim is spiritual growth for everyone who attends the church by the power of the Holy Spirit through prayer. We gather to worship God with praise songs and Bible centered sermons which we together may use to live our best life with Christ. Somerton United Methodist Church invites you to join us to worship God and experience the living presence of Jesus Christ.
