After much prayer, reflection, and conversation, we share with heavy hearts that Somerton United Methodist Church will officially close its doors as of June 7, 2026.
For generations, Somerton UMC has been a place of worship, fellowship, service, and community. We are deeply grateful for every member, pastor, volunteer, and friend who has been part of the church’s journey and ministry throughout the years.
As we prepare for this final chapter, we invite all past and present members of the congregation and community to join us in celebrating the life and legacy of Somerton UMC during our final services leading up to June 7.
While this building may close, the faith, friendships, memories, and impact of Somerton UMC will continue to live on in the hearts of all who have been touched by its ministry.
